Ha! I recognize that plot I'm so glad it actually got used! I was trying to give DR some ideas. I am definitely in. test it as it is right now, if a change is made we'll start using that changed rule. if an ability type/system is changed, you'll be able to redistribute abilitites inside it if you want efectively a way to test the system as it evolves whilst also having some fun also, what level adjustment to a normal monster manual critter would you say adding the hollow template be? I'm thinking 1 per size catagory, due the hit dice effect and the general increaed power of the bleach system sep rol is 1d4 + 4 at the moment. you can reroll it when the system changes if you want

I haven't looked at the Hollow template. Give me a second to see what I think.
Rolling SEP (same omnidice) Got a 2+4=6
Let me look at the Hollow template and give a guess. I'm thinking Water specialist by the way. The game I played a water specialist died at level 6 when I was starting to actually not suck.
Also, this was a house rule but I'm curious your opinion. The Mirage ability has like 100 different uses. Do you count each time you take "Mirage" as the 1/3 your level. Or each time you take a different use of "mirage"
In other words by level 7 we can have an ability two times (three if you round up). Can I take Mirage only two (or three) times each REGARDLESS of which ability I use it on? Or can I take it up to that many times PER use?

Alright Hollow. The straight Hollow perhaps LA +1? Maybe +2? It seems low, but don't forget it also has 2 Racial Hit Die.
Gillian is pretty rough because its colossal which opens a whole school of broken.

the hollow template give the creautre a damage res negeated by everything... hollow abilities and extra natural armour Major and Mirage: the follow on abilitites for mirage (greater, imrpoved, perfect) all have the same effects at taking mirage multiple times, so why would you want to do it by taking mirage regardless, I'm not going to limit you getting extra abilitites (sound, heat, etc) on mirage, but it counts against your limit of 3 (rounding up is fun ) to take the dc/area increase

Gotcha, so basically dropping the racial hit die? I'm not too good at gagging LA and such. But I think the RD works as a nice base. A +2 LA perhaps?
The DR is overcome by most Bleach classes (Shinigami, Quincy, etc) so its more just general DR.
Added to D&D the LA would be higher. Added to the Bleach world, not so much.
The abilities is what makes it hard to gauge...

DC increase, extra mirages, senses, tactical sense (that's a big one that the others don't add), range. Etc. It adds a LOT.
Alrighty, I'll get to work on the level 7 character.
(Choices choices...the urge to play a Vizard is always fun, but crazy berserker doesn't seem to fit my mental image of an illusionist...)

Wow. I totally derped and rolled SEP anyway.. screw Quincy D:< I rolled up a 4, +4 = 8! Then I derped and forgot to make a comment and rerolled and got a 5. Screw it. Back to Quincy.
