Freezing is rather powerful... HP of 5 per level and hardness of 10 per level means breaking free is nearly impossible

Honestly the recoil penalty for pistol while it makes sense is a bit negative because its already a -2 and then if you do two-weapon fighting that's another -2.
So duel-wielding would hurt even more than usual. But that's just my opinion.
On a side note to clear up wording the crossbow needs to be edited. It should be 4 levels higher, but it says only one level.

Anyway - I dislike the recoil penalty. Seems arbitrary. The cost hike is a bit frustrating too, but makes a little more sense. Guns are intended to be fired, although there is recoil, yes, it's designed to be an efficient weapon. th BAB drop on repeat shots is more than enough to model recoil drift.
Other stuff there I want to comment on: Some of the elemental effects , especially turning blood to acid, seem inappropriate to what Quincy actually do, IMO.
Overwatch - needs to be simpler, and I see no reason to talk about fighting in formation in its descrption. a fixed threat range is best than ' x squares'
Reflexive Shot - I see no reason this should reduce charge.
Formation - being adjacent to people is not generally desirable either way. something needs to be done at this level to get a.. more vialbe strategy bonus or something.

freezing: hardness should only increase by 1 per level, no 10 per level. my wording sucks pistol: forgot quincy bow constructions where usefull when writing this, will change those two now also, forgot that was covered by crossbow... Pistol: a pistol bow construction is based on the modern eapon, scorned by the old masters for being the too newfangled*, and the tool of posers and hooligans. A pistol bow construction requires only a single hand to use. whenever the quincy uses spirit charges to augment their attacks, they recieve an extra +1 damage per 2 charges expended. Rifle for the modern quincy with a perchant on accuracy, the rifle is a reliable quincy weapon, combining modern aiming technology with the traditional art of spiritual firepower. a rifle quincy bow treats the first attack made in a round as a touch attack. tada

Is there now no downside to either?

narp, maybe, just throwing ideas at the wall here
the thing about the bow constructions is their heavily unbalanced between themselves, with web and long being amazing, and the other two a bit meh...

it's already there in seeker shot Current seeker shot: The Phase Arrow has the key difference in that it ignores armor bonuses

Hmmm. I didn't mind the -2 penalty on the recoil for the pistol design, but the new pistol design sounds just peachy. You should mention however whether these pistols are light weapons or not for duel wielding. I don't remember if Pistols are or not.
As for Rifle. Ooh daddy like. It's so shiny.

Then let's work on balancing all the bows with each other. Starting old going new. Getting everything sexy and then upload it to the wiki

crossbow: + 1 step of damage, +1 to hit, -10 range. thankfully no need to reload. +1 dice size on bow attributes (missed this one before, seems nicer now)
longbow: +2 damage. can be used to power attack like a 2 hander (amazing)
shortbow: +1 damage. may lower damage to get bonus to hit (nice early on, meh later on)
web bow: double shots, -5 to hit (amazing)
whip bow: threaten with 10ft range (meh, really, due to teleportation/people being close meaning your dead anyway)
handbow: as above.
redone whip bow: melee weapon with 10ft reach, increases by 5ft per 10 char levels, to 30ft at level 20. can trip/disarm/grapple
pistol: light, bonus damage wehn spending charges, can be dual wielded
rifle: bonus range, 1st attack is more accurate
thrown: can whirwind. works like thrown weapon

fixed bow designs Shortbow: -5 cost of the Steppingshot master shot. Also may move before and after all attacks up to his speed.
Longbow: may reduce bab by amount and add twice that to damage. Also Looping Arrow only costs amount missed by +2.
Pistol: Shootaway costs damagex2. Also each SC spent to improve an attck increses damage by 1 per 2SC spent.
Rifle Piercing Arrow -15 to cost. First Attack each round is a touch attack or ignores 5 DR.
Web bow is great cuz the two attacks so reducing the cost of a master shot for each design

Also we need to give a small benefit to soulsynthesized bows or no one will ever use them. Standard action over spirit bow's move action why would any one use a SSbow?
And The Rifle Abilty to do a touch attack is pitiful. Touch attacks are not valuable in Bleach d20 for one reason. Raise your hand if your character has a natural armor, armor, or shield bonus. What, why are there so few hands? Because the majority of us have AC bonuses from our defense bonus, our dex mod and probably some dodge or deflection bonii. Lets see hollows have nat armor ok, shinigami could spend their abiities on armor or shields but that is limited to barrier and weapon types, fullbringers can do nat armor, armor and sheilds, Arrancar can also do all three but also would have to take barrier or weapon types, mod souls have access to armor and quincies have.. none of those three. Rifles therefore are usefull 100% against hollows and arrancar, and less useful against shinigami than anyone else.

*raises hand* Mine does. Most hollow do. Wait...so a rifle is good again Hollow? The main thing that Quincy fight?

hey all, just testing the waters for an idea.
I'm thinking of duplicating a few of the poison/ssassination shikai abilities into quincy bows because I can see them using them. thoughts?

good idea but you might want to combine a few since quincy get less bow stuff than shinigami get shikai stuff
