So...vote. If someone builds their build to counter one of the many ways to attack (touch attacks, flat-footed, saves, etc) should they be able to win majority of the times versus the thing they are built to counter? Or should every attack always work most the time no matter what your defenses are?
Or you can whine that the poll is biased. I'm betting we will get one or two of those.

Yeah, if you plan to build so specifically then I would hope you'd at least be able to beat what you build to counter. Now, I don't condone that kinda of building, as it tends to leave you too vulnerable to other common methods, but people do build tanks, and a tanks job is to... well... tank.

But what about people that like attacking normally? Why should they have to work with their allies? Shouldn't they be able to target your strengths, but be such a badass that you don't matter?
By saying that you should be allowed to tank you force people to work as a team! We cannot condone such behavior!!!

Oh, I know, there should totally be a class called "Main Character" Attack bonus is Yes Critical Hit is Yes Defense is No all saves set to Yes, Shunpo Limit: what limit SEP limit: I have a limit? tranalations: Always hits, Always crits, can't be hit, saves auto pass, no shunpo limit, no SEP limit >.> yeah.... even I would say **** no to that

That's right! I don't want to be forced to team up with my idiot teammates who are stupid classes like kido shinigami or quincy.
I'm the warrior! I'm the badass. I'm 100% useless against the everybody EXCEPT the tank. I don't crush light armor people easily or one shot the Kido squishy.
In fact, melee attacking is the worst possible build, but I took it so that I can beat on the armored guys. He thinks armor makes him tough? Bullshit, my penis is bigger and I'll target his strong suit and win. I don't need to work together and target his many weaknesses!

Right on, let's show those people who work together that..... hey wait, why are you both attacking me at the same time, hey, stop sneak attacking me, OUCH that hurts, hey, don't cast that Kido on me HEY are you listening, huh reflex save? Uh.... eh....

Wait? Flanking gives me mechanical benefits? The game is encouraging me to work together?
But surely that's only so two manly warriors can beat on their target! It isn't meant to encourage experts, warriors, kido, quincy, and more to work together!
I totally beat down 90% of the various builds (scout type, light armored sneak type, no armored low HP kido type) why should I have a weakness just because some guy wears a giant metal box?
Screw all his weaknesses, I'm so badass I auto-win. And don't tell me otherwise! I'll just ignore your post and say I don't understand why people don't agree with me!

Way to relay things out of context and dramatically exaggerate to try and make your points seem more valid.

Way to relay things out of context and dramatically exaggerate to try and make your points seem more valid. and yet, those are valid ways to handle a heavily armored character. target weakness: Low saves (binding kido work wonders here) use touch attacks (again Kido has touch attacks) since that person has heavy as heck armor, they move slower, so if you stand more than their charge distance away (and the are busy fighting the melee fighter to tank him and outlast him) they wont easily be able to avoid a Kido-type from ruining their day. Heck, here is one, how do you hit a flying character when you can't fly and they are dropping Red Flame Cannon on you? In short, you can't. Does that heavy armored character suddenly seem so OP?

OK, this is starting to go a little to far. Outlaw, I have to assume now that this is intentional. You are entierly ignoring everyones point or you can;t read english. You choose one part, around an 8th of the balance point, and base your argument on it being 80% of the balance point. It's infuriating, and the sheer intesity of it combined with the sarcasm gives the impression your fully aware of this and doing so to further the argument. You also refuse to consider anayone one else could be right, and have no flexability. this is a team project for a team game, focus on what you want for 1 on 1 encounters hurts us all @ Major, he may be infuriating, but now your just lowering yourself to his level. you're better than that. this issue has been resolved on a case of 4 (me, major, kiba, dio) to 1 (you). It. Is. Resolved. I will lock any other posts of the matter I see. I cannot tell you how to play your game, or what oppinions you should have, nor can I influence how you play at home, but this is decided and I'm not wasting any more time on the matter. verdict: AC remains that of the chosen armour. I'm sorry if you don't like the verdict, but it's pretty unanimous, and the conversation is making all of you act like me. you don't want that
