experimental modifications:
Modsoul technology is still in the development stage, and as such there is always one or two tools in the development stage. Experimental modifications are modifications not yet ready for mass production - they generally yeild superior results but without the bugs worked out they can be a little unpredictable.
Maximised Energy burst Prerequisites: None The modsoul is fitted with a secondary power source located within his chest, linked to his main core. when the power of the core hits maximum, the secondary drive is engaged, coating the modsoul in an aura of burning flames. The modsoul can trigger anihilation mode as a swift action, rather than a move action, and the duration is doubled. Whilst anihilation mode is active, the modsoul is surrounded by an aura of energy, of a type of the modsoul's choice, that grants immunity to the chosen type, and deals 2d6 damage to any creature the modsoul moves within 10ft of, this damage increased to 6d6 if the modsoul ends his turn adjacent to them. Using this form puts a large amount of strain on the modsouls body however, and as such, if they use this ability then they suffer 2d6 damage at the end of each of their turns so long as they remain in annihilation mode.
Adaptive Defence field Prerequisites: something The modsoul is equiped with a protective field that reads and adapts to whatever is thrown at himself. activating the defence field is a swift action that costs 20 SEP, and a further 10 SEP per round and lasts until the end of the battle. Whilst the field is active, the modsoul gains + 2 to all saves. In addition, whenever the modsoul is hit by an attack, the modsoul gains an immunity to the damage type of the attack. The modsoul can only have one immunity in this manner at a time. If the modsoul is hit by a spell that allows spell resistance, he instead gains spell immunity. If the modsoul is hit by a physical attack he instead becomes intangible. If the modsoul is hit by an attack that does not cause damage but allows a save, then he instead becomes immune to that effect, and is allowed a second attempt to save each turn until the effect ends or he is hit by another attack.
Biotech immortality drive The Modsoul incorporates much more organic technology and posseses an intense regenerative power. The modsoul's fast healing rate is doubled, and the fast healing is upgraded to regeneration/- whilst the modsoul is in annihilation mode.
