Possibly the Ranger tree for ranged combat for Feats at the same progression rate?
I will admit, in a shock twist I actually think some of the latest changes are too useful. Comparing Crossbows, Pistols and Rifles against most of the others rapidly confirms which is superior. If comparing the Pistol against the Longbow for example (bonus damage being one of the main things for each) without using its Ranged Power attack Longbow gets outdone from level 2 onwards by the passive boost from pistol (due to the X3 crit bonus) and even factoring in the Power every two levels from there the Longbow user has to lower his BAB by 1 to keep even. Though a Quincy with a longbow could theoretically out do the Pistol user bydumping most of his BAB into further increasing his damage he would need to be less than half as accurate in terms of shooting to do so. In addition the Pistol has a further boost from its reduced cost for a master shot.
I'm not sure if it's just the case that they got more attention as they were worked on more recently but there are bow choices that will assuredly be taken above all others simply because they are just better. It's not just a case of style choice but rather that some bow choices are the only ones to consider irrespective of looks simply because choosing others is hindering your build.

hmmm, passive boost of 1/2 level against 2 * level, I believe? that means the quincy (at level 40) can get +40 damage against the pistols 10. don;t forget all quincy can dump almost their level in spirit charges to get bonuses to hit. pistiol design: no real modifiers to hit. assuming spending 10 charges on bonuses to hit (getting 16 a round for free, may as well spend them in addition to using abilities) would come out with +30 to hit (before stats) and +20 damage the longbow user could, in the same action, take a penalty of -10 to hit to get +30 damage in total. +20+stat to hit is still very likely, and the damage is a fair whack higher. also, IIRC longbow gets a specific master shot cheaper, no? (I know web does) and crossbow is technically unchanged. rifles the one that wories me, because nera's version includes twice the bonu damage of the pistol and the ignore DR, but thats the only one that I'd say was overpowering. and the web-bows "I'm firing 12 shots a round and there's nothing you can do to stop me" still has all the others beat

Regarding Quincy, with the BAB adjusted and Gintou being looked at the class is in much better shape; not complete but definitely improved. For myself I still have three main areas of concern for balancing compared to the other classes. 1: Skill points should be bumped to a base of 6 in my view. 2: They need a boost on the number of Class Skills, currently they get a total of 12 Class, compared to the Fullbringer's 14 and the Expert Shinigami's 18. I honestly see no reason why Quincy should be choosing eleven Class Skills, at the very least they should be getting Craft for free. 3: A bonus Feat progression, yes I know it's been mentioned by many others. As it stands now, regardless of class features every class gets a Bonus Feat progression, I personally feel that to say Quincy shouldn't because of their class features is rather silly. While archery is feat intensive my other reason, and why I'm against the suggestion of giving them something like Combat Style, is that Feats are one of those points of personal adjustment in a character, they're a thing you can use to make your character unique and distinct from those around you. This, when taken with the large number of feats in the game makes me a supporter of classes getting more feats. As for the rate of the progression, I personally feel 1 every two levels is a bit too many, I'd support 1/3 or at the least 1/4.

One thing to note with bows - You may now CHANGE your Bow (s, presumably, if you have the Versatile Bow Feat) by smashing and regenerating your Quuincy cross/ spend 12 hours remaking it. (You can change your base, I'd presume you can re-pick all the forms...)

Once you see it you'll never play another of their games without losing.

Anyone other than BlackestofMages:
Would you consider it too unbalancing if the Seeker Shot could have an optional surcharge to become a ranged touch attack. Maybe an extra 2-3 spirit charges.

Wondering something: Why the half hour charge time for Spirit Charges when out of combat, but move action while in? Shouldn't they just be able to naturally gather spirit charges while out of combat? Or at least reduce the time to something less silly.

I think it was so they don't start combat with full charges or something. does seem a little silly, but I can understand where they're coming from since it would mean a quincy could start every fight by going nova with no worry of eing out of power for the next one

I think, even if it was unintentional, that it fits tha Bleach timing for combat and such rather well...for instance: 3 episodes into Ichigo vs Grimmjoww(their last fight) it was stated that Ichigo had been wearing his mask for 11 minutes...after 3 episodes >.>
Sp yeah, even if it was for another reason, it actually fits the base...plus: Maybe a Quincy in the heat of battle has better control over this kind of stuff, or rather, only has the need to speed up the process when they're being backed into a corner.
