It's either that, or turn them into a sub race, available only to one of three: -Shinigami with a living body - Quincy - Fullbringers
Of course, I only suggest because I've got a player interested in such a thing.

I would suggest what I once knew as a "Character Feat" that gives a variable bonus depending the ancestry. It would be restricted so someone couldn't say that their mother was a Shinigami and their father a Quincy, so balance wouldn't be an issue.
Spiritual Tradition Prerequisite: Must be taken at 1st level. Benefit: Your family tree involves members that are more than human. You gain a bonus depending on the type of ancestry your family brings: Shinigami: Increse your SEP by 2 points at each level. Quincy: Once per day per character level, you may make a Concentration check (DC 10) to recover SEP equal to 1/2 your character level. Fullbringer: Due to your family learning how to cope with hard circumstances, you gain an additional feat at third level, and every five levels after that. Special: When you select this feat, you may only choose one type of ancestry.
Of course, we could limit it a bit further and make it so your family's background has to be the same as yours; a Shinigami couldn't have a Quincy father, for example.

Well, the character in question was going to have a quincy mother and shinigami father (my suggestion on the father part actually).
I was thinking limit it to just hollow or shinigami, as those are the two most reitsu focused beings in Bleach. It would make sense that any human descended from them would be born with a supernatural affinity (ex. the Kurosaki family)

Of course, but I also don't think a Hollow would give birth to a human. (Now I want to write up a book on Hollow Biology.)
What class is this character?

just looking at Nera's thing: Shinigami: OK, looks fine. Quincy: Nice Fullbringer: I spend a feat to gain 4 four feats? where do I sign! this seems a bit silly tbh that one feat gets you more with no trade off. Maybe let them use the fullbringer's base SLA's instead, since it's fullbringer esque power which is what I think T meant? and to add Hollow: you gain the Scent abiliity. This tracks both spiritual pressure as well as mundane scents. Modsoul: WTF how did that happen. you gain the living construct subtype Bount: you sparkle in the sunlight ...what? Hollow parent: well, onyl arrancar would be possible of this, and by then they can think again, so meh, it'd work

It'd be impossible to tell with hollow physiology, now would it? Unless someone has a quote from Kubo Tite that hollows can't interbreed with humans....

Meh. Couldn't come up with anything for Fullbringers. I mean, really, what do they do? They bring... fullness... to... things.
And Bounts can't reproduce. (Kariya talking to people. The only one who did was the chick with the fire Doll, and she made soul sucking mosquitoes.)

They talk with spirits in objects and communicate with them?
Thus the SLAs...
Mending, mage hand, prestigitation, etc.

Not sure if this was brought up, but the increased Shunpo feat is able to be taken at 3rd level but has no benefit until 4th level since the Expert Shinigami doesn't get access to Shunpo until 6th level.... it makes no sense that it allows it to be taken at 3rd level when you get +3 reflex save, but the class with the greatest Shunpo potential can't even make use of the feat until one level after the feat becomes available.... it just seems to defeat the purpose of being able to take it at level 3.
